The Designer
After moving to Japan, Martina Umemura transitioned from medical studies to teaching and philanthropy. She first visited Kesennuma in 2011 and founded Umemura Martina Kesennuma FS Atelier in 2012, specializing in wool and knitwear. Today, she serves as the company’s managing director.
